Description
Svartkärrets nature reserve has an old coniferous forest, with elements of deciduous trees such as aspen, oak and lime, which provide a rich cryptogamic flora. The forest is between 70 and 140 years old with elements of late-growing spruces. The reserve is located in a larger forested landscape with wetlands and lakes.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.
