Facts
Riddarholm Church is the burial church of the Swedish kings and Stockholm's only preserved medieval monastery church. The medieval kings Magnus Ladulås and Karl Knutsson Bonde are buried here.
With Queen Kristina as the only exception, the Swedish rulers from Gustav II Adolf (d. 1632) to Gustaf V (d. 1950) rest here. The church is primarily a burial and memorial church, which is managed by the National Marshal's Office and the National Property Board.
Riddarholm Church is open for self-guided tours during spring, summer and fall, as well as for special events and seraphim ringings. In summer, weekend concerts with Gregorian music are held.
