Description
Bruces skog is a species-rich natural area in Helsingborg and one of our most popular recreational areas. Within walking distance, you will find ponds, pastures, beech and oak forest, and wet deciduous forest. You can also use the bike lanes, walking and riding paths, and visit the information points.
The purpose of the Bruces skog nature reserve is to protect and develop a natural and recreational area with high natural and cultural values close to urban areas.
The great variety of habitats represented at Bruces skog gives the area rich flora. Bruces skog is also a site for certain migratory birds. It is well worth a visit year-round!
Many Swedish tree species are represented, for example oak, beech, juniper, ash, and hazel. Deciduous trees are left to age.
Recreation in Bruces skog is facilitated by walking trails and a couple of campfire areas. There is also a toilet at the parking lot in the southeast part of the area.
Please note: The purpose of the nature reserve is to protect and develop the long-term natural and cultural values of the area. Therefore, please respect the rules of conduct!
Remember to keep your dog on a leash from March 15 to October 15, except in designated dog areas where your dog can run free. Only build fires in designated areas, and do not harm plants, animals, or historical remnants.
