Description
In the reserve, old-growth spruce forest stands with the branches and twigs reach right down to the ground and it is not unusual to see trees draped in hanging lichen. Up on the summit you have a fine view of the landscape. The area is 1.7 square kilometres in size.

Communications
The reserve lies about 6 kilometres west of Marsjärv, on the boundary between Överkalix and Gällivare Municipality. From Marsjärv you can get to the reserve via logging roads.
