Two days through the Swedish countryside

Discover the Småland countryside by bike. The Farms & Crafts Cycling Route follows quiet country roads through deep forests, open farmland, charming villages and beautiful lakeside landscapes.

Along the route you'll find farm shops, cafés, local food producers, artists and craftspeople. Stop for coffee in a garden café, browse handmade crafts, pick up local produce or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The route is particularly suitable for e-bikes and comfort bikes and passes through Ljungby, Lagan, Hulie, Flattinge, Os, Kvänarp, Gässhult, Hörda, Borsna, Ryssby and Tutaryd.

While the full route can be completed in a day, we recommend taking two days and staying overnight along the way. This allows time to enjoy the many stops and experience the slower pace of rural Småland.

Late summer and harvest season are especially beautiful, with grazing animals, ripening fruit, colourful fields and long days perfect for exploring.

The route is not signposted but can easily be followed using Naturkartan.
