Description
Gårdsby hometown association has implemented a project for better and safer bicycle paths in the Gårdsby district along national highway 23. Nowadays you can bicycle safely on easy-rolling gravel roads, which benefits both residents and visiting tourists. The bicycle path runs between villages, passing through woods and beautiful open fields. It also passes the folk museum called Hoppet. Since May 28, year 2020, everyone can ride safely without rolling onto highway 23, from Norra Åreda to Norremark and Växjö town, as this bicycle route connects to the paved bike path towards Sandsbro. Welcome outdoors on a beautiful bike ride!

Facts
-No car driving or motor traffic is allowed on these bike and forest roads. However, driving a car from the Yasjön exit up to the folk museum Hoppet is OK.
-Horse and dog owners are expected to pick up after four-footed animals out on a tour. Horseback riding should always take place in the middle of the road.

Directions
Start in Sandsbro and follow the paved bicycle path here. The entire route up to Norra Åreda is well signposted.
