Artwork: Kopparkatedral

‘Kopparkatedral’ (Copper Cathedral) is 6 metres high and adorns the roundabout at Dr Lundskogs Plats. The sculpture is a landmark that relates to the place, streets and architecture of the surrounding buildings. It can be appreciated from a distance as well as up close, as was the artist’s intention. As you drive or walk around it, its shape and expression change due to its ‘folded’ form and is further enhanced by the changing colour of the light in the evening. Purchased by the Municipality of Värnamo in 2005.
