Description
In this hilly nature reserve, you can experience barren pine rocklands, spruce forests full of flowering plants and wetlands that were cut for hay in the past. Kläppberget reaches 550 meters above sea level and its steep slope to the west turns into gently sloping spruce forests and wetlands. There is a relatively high proportion of deciduous trees in some parts of the nature reserve. Due to the nutrient-rich groundwater on the slope, there are plenty of flowering plants in both the spruce forest and the wetlands. The herb-rich area has previously been both grazed and cut for hay. The area has been given its own name, Sönnerängena.

Follow road E45 north from Svenstavik. Turn right towards Skucku after about 4 kilometers. Follow the new road for 15 kilometers until you reach Högbodarna. Then turn right onto a forest road and follow it for just over a kilometer until you come to a junction. Turn right at the junction. After about 3.5 kilometers you will arrive at the nature reserve.
