Author's cottage and magnificent views.

The trail connects Hamnudden with Tärnudden. From Hamnudden, the trail follows the sea past Bourgström's cottage where Albert Engström wrote his book about Gotska Sandön in the 1920s. At the headland of St. Annae, the trail goes up on Högaland's mighty shoreline. From the path you have a magnificent view in three directions. The trail then descends among the dunes at Vinbukten before reaching Tärnudden. The trail is mostly easy to walk. Some steep sections and open sand make the walk a little more strenuous.
