Description

The open-air museum on northern Gotland has unique historical buildings that are open for visits. Soak up the atmosphere of the cultural-historical environments on a large green area. Want to know more? The daily guided tour is included in the entrance fee!

The museum has unique picture stones from the Iron Age as well as farms from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Here you can see how both people and animals used to live. There are also boatmen's cottages, mills, a water saw, a smithy, a fishing village and much more.

In the Children's Barn there is the Children's Trading Post, playhouse and haystack. Here children can play shop and in a home environment. In the playground, children of all ages can try their hand at traditional games, tug-of-war, walking on stilts or throwing darts.

Don't miss the School Museum, Bunge's old elementary school from 1846. The school houses an 1840s schoolroom and a 1910s schoolroom. In addition, there is the teacher's residence decorated as it looked in the 1920s. Read more here before your visit: bungemuseet.se
