Opplimen runt

A varied round along both path and asphalt road! Here you experience both nature and culture as the walk goes both through the village environment and in the forest. Between Sjugare and Bodlindor there is a gravel path in the forest, otherwise village roads and cycle paths. Along the way there are different types of nature such as old spruce forest, farmland and wetlands. At the mouth of the stream in the southeastern part of the lake there are traces of beaver activity. If you're lucky, you might see woodpeckers and Eurasian bitterns.

Opplimen is one of the municipality's best bathing lakes, and it gets warm early in the season. So bring swimwear to possibly be able to take a cooling dip after the hike!

Along the way you will pass the author Erik Axel Karlfeldt's farm Sångs in Sjugare, and Knotgården in Bodlindor.
