Beschreibung
Here on the steep north slope of Nuorteliden mountain, a primary coniferous Forest grows which has never been reached by modern forestry. In the primary forest there are real old-timers aged up to 450 years, half a millennium! Natural forest fires have made their mark on many trees and a storm in 2011 felled large quantities of forest, above all in the middle of the reserve. The area is 0.6 square kilometres in size.

The reserve lies about 10 kilometres east of Lauker. The most suitable road is the logging road which leads northwest winds between the villages of Trolltjärn and Nuorte. The road leads to the Lake Lunssjajavrrie, where there is a large turnaround. You cannot drive all the way to the reserve, you must walk the last stretch alongside the lake on a small road which leads as far as the reserve.
