Beschreibung
The nature reserve Bålkaberget is a vast, scenic area with low fells covered by spruce forests interspersed with mires, stream and lakes. There are several ancient trails in the area, for example in the southern part of the area, between Mausjaur and Grundträskliden. In the northern part there are snowmobile trails, which however are not managed by the County Administrative Board. The area is 20.7 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikation
The reserve lies about 17 kilometres southwest of Arvidsjaur. Several small roads lead to the reserve. Approaching westwards from Arvidsjaur there are two roads to choose from and the distance to the reserve is 20-35 km depending on the choice of road.

The reserve is located about 17 kilometers southwest of Arvidsjaur. Bålkaberget is a large area and there are several roads leading to the reserve. There are two roads to choose from if you go west from Arvidsjaur and depending on which road is chosen, it is between 2-3.5 miles to reach the reserve.
Verordnungen
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - camp - hike - make a small fire - drive a snowmobile on well snow-covered ground - pick berries and edible mushrooms - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to litter or damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
