The Gavleån to Testeboån canoeing route is a perfect excursion on a balmy summer evening. This is a unique canoeing route where you can experience everything from the pulse of the city to the calm, beautiful natural environments of the Testeboån Delta Nature Reserve. Testeboån is also a popular area for recreational fishing, so a tip is to bring a fishing rod and a valid fishing license on the paddling trip.
Recommended round trip location:
The recommended loading and unloading point is at the Baggarevarvet boat dock. From Baggarevarvet you paddle towards central Gävle and through the canal at Gävle beach and then further up to Vävaren in Testeboån.
