Beskrivelse
The forest on Brånaberget resembles an ancient forest. There are almost no traces of felling among the old, thick spruce and pine trees.
Calcicole species such as the marsh fragrant orchid and the Scottish asphodel can be found in the damper parts of the reserve.

Take road 1135 from Sorsele towards the village of Örnäsudden, turn left just before the village. The reserve is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Sorsele in the foothills region in the interior of Västerbotten.
