Beskrivelse
Vårdnäs church was built in 1796 when the old church was considered too small. The church, which today can accommodate 600 people.
The altarpiece was painted by Pehr Hörberg in 1802 and depicts Jesus' explanation (Matthew 17:1-13). There are several objects in the church worth seeing, but among them is a sturdy church chest from the 17th century where the church's money and valuables were stored. It took four keys, held by four different people, to open the chest.
