Beskrivelse
Svinstadsjön is located in a rift valley east of Bankekind. The lake is no deeper than five meters and has nutrient-rich, turbid water. In recent years, reduction fishing for whitefish has been carried out, which has improved the water quality and benefited the lake's predatory fish. Sport fishing in the lake is mainly focused on perch, zander and perch.
Fishing in the lake is licensed by Svinstadsjöns fiskevårdsområdesförening. You can buy a fishing license on the iFiske online service.

One of several possible starting points for fishing in Svinstadsjön is Bankekind's bathing place on the southern shore of the lake outside Bankekind. You get here if you take highway 35 from Linköping towards Åtvidaberg and turn left towards Bankekind. Inside the community, turn right towards Björsäter and continue 800 meters until you see the bath's parking on the left.
