Kvarsebo kultur- och naturstig

The hiking trail along the Kvarsebo stream is almost a kilometer long. Along the path there are boards with information about the area's natural and cultural values. And there really is a lot to discover here! The Kvarsebo stream meanders through a deep ravine in places. The large ferns, the dense deciduous grove and the birdsong give the area an exotic character. Before the canopy of deciduous trees has closed, the spring flowering is magnificent. The ground is covered with wood anemones. In the fall, sea trout spawn in the stream. At the old dam there was a mill dating back to the 14th century and higher up in the gorge you can see the remains of a saw that was in use until the 1930s.
