Beskrivelse
Welcome to follow the locks up close in the canal park. Here you can sit down under the trees and enjoy the canal. At the lock you will find a work of art illustrating the start of construction of the Göta Canal in 1810. The canal engineer Thomas Telford supervises and an excavator takes the first spade.
In addition to the canal, the canal park is dominated by grassy areas and mature trees such as maple, beech, chestnut and lime. Several of them are classified as perpetual trees. There are also several high stumps in the park to promote biodiversity.
