Cykeltur 5: Stegeborg-Hammartorp-Ytterby-Bottna

Difficulty: Hilly short stretches, exposed to wind in the northeast.

Starting at the Garden Hotel next to Stegeborg Castle, there are 24 km of cycle path along beautiful forest and pastures. Start through the avenue in the west and then head south on Hammartorpsvägen, a winding road in mushroom-rich mixed forest. In the south you cross road 210 and pass the Uggeltorpa mines, Askesum and Ytterby near Gropviken's innermost bays. Back out towards road 210, which you then follow for a few kilometers before turning left onto road 839. After a short hilly stretch, you pass the exit towards Kungshällsudden and soon reach Bottna community, with a general store and gas station. The road then continues through open fields and meadows back towards Stegeborg.
