Brunnsviksparken

Brunnsviksparken is a green space that starts at Motala Lasarett on Norrängsgatan and extends west towards Sandåsvägen. A cycle path runs through the entire park. In the eastern part of the park there is a very popular former gravel pit that is now used as a sledding hill and bmx track. There are benches and a barbecue area by the pit.

The park is dominated by tall grassy areas with beautiful tall deciduous trees such as willow, maple, lime, oak and beech. A couple of the trees are classified as perpetual trees, an aspen and an ash. There are two insect hotels on the tall grass areas. The insects benefit from the tall grasses and the hotels help them with nesting sites.
