Next to the embankment is this beautiful, green oasis surrounded by deciduous forest and water. Trout come up in the stream in the fall to spawn.

Here you will find a shelter for about 4 people. Inside there are four hooks to hang your hammock and a hook to attach the dog leash. At the back there is a wood store. Benches are placed out.

The shelter was built in January 2025 with investment funds from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Bag holders are mounted on the windbreak with project funds from Naturbonusen. Together we keep Sweden clean!

In connection with the windbreak there are several benches and tables as well as a fireplace with a height-adjustable barbecue grill.

Water and toilets are available at Banvallsstugan, Korpens hus, which is about 200 meters away, in the direction of Valdemarsvik.
