Beskrivelse
Vinteråsen contains a mixture of very rich deciduous forests, pastures and remnants of small hay meadows. Everywhere you can see traces of the farming toil of older times. The soil here contains a lot of lime, which favors somewhat rarer species of plants and fungi.
As the footpaths and bridleways have not yet been completed, it is important to follow the signs on site in the reserve.

Veibeskrivelse
To get to Vinteråsen from Örebro, you can either take the E18 towards Karlskoga and turn off towards Vintrosa. This will take you to the southern part of the reserve. You can also drive Grävevägen towards Garphyttan and turn towards Latorp. You can also take the bus that stops at several places along Garphyttevägen between Vintrosa and Latorp. From there it is easy to get up into the reserve.
