Sigfridsleden etapp SL7 Sandstadens badplats-Knapelid – en del av Smålandsleden

A nice stage route from Sandstaden, past Tjusås with wind shelter and swimming to the southern end of the Sigfrid Trail at the Knapelid parking lot. Trail grade indicated as blue with most of it along gravel roads and a nice path up to the Knapelid viewpoint. Lake Rottnen is close along the entire route with map names such as Nabbaviken, Björkholmaviken and Åsaviken. The footbridge over Tomtsjö Canal is an experience before the path winds up towards Knapelid. Peaceful nature and silent environments are a characteristic of this last/first stage hike on Sigfridsleden. It is, as always – easy to make right of public access on the hike.
