Route Virestad Lake – Bråthult, approx. 8 km.

Starting point – Välje swimming area, Virestad. Setting afloat at the boat harbour. At the camp-site/swimming area is a toilet, changing cabin, BBQ facilities, wind shelter, rubbish bins, firewood and water. Paddling from Välje goes through Virestad Lake, approx. 4 km. Follow the shoreline to avoid the open water in windy weather. Choose your side depending on the weather. The effluent is in the southwest corner of the lake. From the effluent of Virestad Lake, paddle on the river to Bråthult. The trail leads through shifting landscape with forests and pastures. Just before the bridge in Bråthult/Ållenebro is the canoe camp on the left-hand side (east side). BBQ area, campsite, rubbish bin, firewood and toilet.
