Markerad stig, Bäckafalls naturreservat

The hiking trail is 2.5 km and runs through forest pastures, mixed coniferous forest and various types of swamp forest. During May-September there are cattle in the fenced area and electricity in the fence. In the forest pasture area, restoration of the habitat type continues annually. Along the path you pass large aspens and musky alder swamps, large conifers and large anthills. The path runs partly over open pasture where you can see traces of past cultivation. Here it can be a little difficult to see the trail markers. On the hill to the south there is a large burial cairn. The path leads you through old coniferous forest, pine swamp forest and cool spruce swamp forest. There are footbridges over the alpine meadows and angle passages where you pass the electric fence.
