Vandringsled, Skurugata

Skurugata is one of the county's most dramatic nature reserves. Here you can enjoy fantastic views of the Eksjö area and hike through the dramatic gorge (canyon) that gave Skurugata its name. The gorge is about one kilometer long and in some places the rock walls rise 35 meters into the air. Down in the gorge, it is cool and humid, providing the perfect climate for certain mosses that are unusual at this latitude. Skurugata is a very popular destination and has something for everyone, regardless of the level of adventure you are looking for.
