Anebyleden etapp A4 Gransnäs - Västra Lägern - En del av Smålandsleden

At the start of the stage in Gransnäs is Assjön, a nature-protected spring lake with very clear and clean water. At the lake is the Gransnäs course and campground and at Pinte udde there is a swimming area. In Krister's kingdom there is a soldier's cottage with old objects and you can look at the remains of Krister the Hermit's cave.

You continue along Assjön and pass a wild bog before turning east towards Lake Västra Lägern. In Lilla länhult there is a spring with water, the water is not controlled so boil or filter before drinking it.

You walk along the lake which is a few hundred meters from the trail, but there are some small paths leading down to the water.

At the start/end of the Västra Lägern stage, the Höglandsleden stage HÖ1 connects with the Östgötaleden stage to Österbymo
