Römningens fiskevårdsområde

Römningen is located in an area with rich history and beautiful nature, approximately 15 km west of Älmhult. The lake is part of the Helge å river system and has a maximum depth of about 3.7 metres. Here you can fish for perch, pike and bream, for example.

The lake is partly included in the Göteryd nature reserve and some pine trees along the shore are almost 200 years old. In the nature reserve, there is a signed culture trail for those who want to immerse themselves in the area's history.

Please note that the right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. Find out more about the local fishing rules that apply in this particular lake and buy your fishing license buy from one of the following:

You can not buy a fishing license for Römningen at Älmhult's tourist information.

Note that fisheries inspectors are present and have the right to ask you to present a valid fishing license.
