A journeyman was in the process of casting the church bell for Nöttja church. Just when the ore had melted a woman came running and threw a lot of silverware into the molten ore. Her forefathers had stolen the silverware. The woman sacrificed the silver to regain her peace of mind. This, however, turned out to be the journeyman’s misfortune.
