At Brånanäs, next to the bathing place, there are remains from the 1000s, "Agundaborg", where Agunnaryd's first church was located. After Agunnarydssjön, Helge å continues with a winding paddle down to Lake Möckeln. NOTE! the Vedåsa nature reserve and the fishing ban in Helge å 15 May – 31 August within the Vedåsa reserve - from Agunnarydssjön inlet in Helge å to the outlet in Möckeln.
On Marsholm, the rest area is on the west side of the island, quite far north. Windbreak, barbecue area, garbage bin, firewood and toilet. Further south there is a bathing place where it is not allowed to camp and spend the night. Feel free to visit cultural monuments on the island and a farm environment with a main building from 1872 and the farm museum. A large part of the island is a nature reserve with special rules. There are bird sanctuaries at Marsholm and several smaller islands where there is a ban on access from 1 April to 31 July. After Marsholm you can paddle across the lake all the way down to Älmhult, downstream down to Gustavsfors or upstream east all the way to Virestad.
