Hälsans stig - Växjö

Växjösjön runt, or Hälsans stig and Växjö stadspark as it is also called, is a four kilometer long path through green environments in the middle of the city. The route offers jogging and walking close to the city that tickles both body and soul. Marvel at Växjö Art Site's many imaginative works of art such as Spegelbollen or Pissed Elin. Enjoy bearded grebes, oystercatchers, moorhens and gray herons. Listen out for the lesser spotted woodpecker and the saw-whet sparrow. The shores of Lake Växjösjön are lined with, among other things, torch flowers, sword lily and cabbage lichen. The cyclist follows marked cycle paths around.
