Holmsjöns fiskevårdsområde

The fishing area Holmsjön is located about 15 km west of Älmhult. Here you can catch perch, pike, rotauge roach, pike-perch, and more.

Please note that the right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Holmsjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy on site – information boards are placed close to the lake. You can not buy a fishing license for Holmsjön at Älmhult's tourist information.
