Fäbodled Djura - Östanmor-Rältlindor/Korpholen

Hike along old forest trails between villages in Djura and Skeberg.

The stretch between Rältlindor and Östanmor follows the old trail between the villages. They had common concerns and exchanges in various ways so the path has been well trodden. The forest varies along the route and in some places the path runs alongside or through older forest. i

Between Östanmor in Skeberg and to Hytto near Kanngårdarna you follow the old church path. When you leave the farms in Östanmor, the path leads along south-facing farmland that is no longer in use. Today it looks more like deciduous forest, but field hedges and many, large stone cairns, field hedges tell of older times. Along the way, you are lucky enough to walk through old-growth forest in several places as the path passes through several biotope-protected areas. Whether you go to Hytto or take the road past Drolten and over Djuraberget, it is a varied and nice walk through forests, over streams and along marshes, also with beautiful views in some places.
