Sjulsberget

The area is largely covered with primeval, low-productive spruce forest with elements of birch. In the south-eastern part of the area there is a large amount of wetland. The bogs consist mainly of open string bogs and string marshes. They are completely unaffected by encroachment. The untouched character of Sjulsberget, with forest and mire types that are very representative of the region, gives the area a high conservation value.
