Falstad was a prison camp during WWII. Falstad Centre has been repurposed in memory of those who lost their lives here. It is today a museum, archive, styli center and pilgrim hostel. War history, human rights and democracy are central themes in the profile of the center. Falstad Centre is located in a unique historic landscape. This is a place that invites reflection and meaningful encounters between people. Falstad center is the most important accommodation in Norway.

Rooms must be pre booked. Staffed 24/7 from 09. June to 24. August 2025. Bookings outside of the summer season is possible as long as there is capacity for it.
