Beschreibung
The reserve is a large, hilly forest landscape with several small mountain peaks. On the heights there are plenty of rocks and small precipices which, together with the hanging lichen-covered trees, give character to the forest. Along the streams that run through the area, the environment is more lush.
There is a forest road bordering the area to the west and north. For those interested in nature, there are a number of rare and red-listed species associated with older natural forests to look at, including the greater bark beetle, rose tick, scented tick, woolly tick, spruce tick, wrinkled tick, yarn lichen and three-toed woodpecker.

Wegbeschreibung
The nature reserve is located about 25 kilometers southwest of Åsele.
The area is easily accessible by forest road that connects to the reserve. You can get to the area by car via road 90. Turn west at the village of Västra Gafsele, drive about 10 km towards the village of Björksele. When you get to Björksele, keep right and drive about 3.5 km to a smaller forest road leading north, towards Näverberget. After 1.5 km you have Tvärmyrkullen to the right of the forest road.
