Das Reservat liegt eine Meile südwestlich von Östersund. Von Frösön aus nehmen Sie die Vallsundbrücke und biegen nach der Brücke rechts ab. Bei Target nehmen Sie links Richtung Target und nach sieben Kilometern gibt es einen Parkplatz mit Informationstafel.

Welcome to Rödmyrmyren. Keep in mind that in the reserve it is not allowed to:

• capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
• picking and collecting any species except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, except in specially designated places
• drive motorized vehicles off-road throughout the area
• without the permission of the County Administrative Board, conduct organized activities, such as sports events, hunting tests, visits by large groups, recurring events, etc.

The permit requirement does not apply to groups with fewer than 15 participants, or to school classes or pre-school groups that only engage in traditional hiking or touring on a single occasion.
