Visit Nyby

At Visit Nyby you will have a charming and comfortable countryside stay about a hundred km north of Stockholm. The accommodation will suit both large families and smaller groups. Visit Nyby offers entire houses for rent as well as bed & breakfast.

You are surrounded by nature, woods and pastures, with the sheep’s’ pen around the corner and the sea at walking distance. Wind down and enjoy nature and local sights or use the accommodation as a basis for exploring Stockholm, Uppsala or Åland.

Rent Gamla huset (the Old House) with 6-7 beds. A lovely, old but comfortable, house in the middle of the countryside. The large terrace seats many and the lawns that surrounds the house offers lots of space for games and play, a sandbox, and a small set of swings. Fully equipped kitchen, toilet, shower, and open fire.

Rent Torpet with 2-3 beds. Torpet is very small, but a nice, comfortable, and charming little house. Torpet is located in a secluded spot behind our carriage house with berries and mushrooms just outside your doorstep. Toilet, shower, kitchen, wood-burning stove.

Bed and Breakfast For those wanting to stay just a night or two we offer bed & breakfast during off-season. Bed and Breakfast stay includes bed linen, towels, and a simple breakfast.

The area around Visit Nyby offers roads that are great for biking and lovely woods with lots of berries and mushrooms as well as a wide range of flora and fauna. Nearest bathing spot is Ramviken 1.5 km away (the Baltic Sea). The child-friendly bathing spot at Rådasjön is 7 kilometers away. Väddö golf course can be reached by a 10 minutes’ drive.

The nearest place for groceries, post office, pharmacy, bank and restaurants is Älmsta, about 9 km away. At Visit Nyby you can rent bikes of different shapes and sizes and borrow a rowing boat and life jackets for bathing and fishing trips.

Pets are allowed, but please give us advance information if you want to bring your pet.

Central Stockholm is about 100 km away and Uppsala and Arlanda Airport is a bit closer.
