Lotsängsbacken

Lotsängsbacken consists of a raised rocky landscape with low-growing pine trees and a grove area sloping down towards several unusual groves like banberries and buckrams. Several of the trees are old and gnarly with holes, here among other things the tawny owl thrives. It's an area of great natural beauty and the nature reserve was expanded in 2012 with an additional 7 hectares of surrounding woodland and water. Lotsängsbacken is part of the ecological network Natura 2000.
