Beschreibung
In 2014, the municipality built a viewing platform at Borens beach. The idea for the platform comes from a young ornithologist in the Motala biological association who submitted a citizen proposal. From the viewing platform you get an overview of the Motala stream outlet in Boren, which is especially an area rich in seabirds in winter. Sea eagles are also regularly seen patrolling along the Motala stream and Boren.
