Biologiska mångfaldens dag, söndagen den 22 maj

You’re invited to celebrate Biodiversity Day at Bondebacka Farm!

This day, established by the United Nations, is meant to highlight and raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity.

• At Bondebacka, you can visit the herb garden, take a stroll around, and sit down for a coffee break. Monica Karlsson from the Motala Biological Association, who tends the gardens, will be there. You can get tips and ideas for your garden with biodiversity in mind.
• Children up to age 12 will receive sunflower seeds and a potted popcorn plant to take home.
• Magnus Thelander will demonstrate how to build a bat house.
• Karin Frisell from the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation will be selling meadow plant cuttings and creating a small meadow, among other activities.
• Coffee, juice, and cookies will be available for purchase.

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
