Torpet T. Smedlyckan i Kallanäs

The foundation of the small croft, T. Smedlyckan, is located by the road right at the entrance to Kallanäs. During the latest farm and croft inventory, the local heritage association was able to confirm that foreman Peter Johansson and his wife, Eva Peters, lived at the croft in the mid-1800s. Whether Peter and Eva built the croft is unclear, but only ten years later, they left the house and moved to Nickalycke. Subsequently, various families moved in and out of the croft throughout the rest of the 19th century. When the last person lived there is uncertain, as is the time it collapsed and disappeared. Today, only the foundation remains, leaving it up to the imagination to picture how Småland looked during that time.
