A short stroll from the parking area opens up new vistas of Lake Rottnen. There are plenty of trails here to explore down to Lake Tomtsjön. Knapelid is the southernmost starting point for the Sigfridsleden hiking route that continues all the way to Asa. Respect the Right to Roam (allemansrätten) rules and never light a fire on flat rock. Have coffee and a snack instead and just enjoy the view.
