Kapten Karlssons Lekpark

The playground is located in the residential area Karlssons äng near the preschool Kapten Karlsson.

The large area has a barbecue area with benches and tables for those who want to bring something to eat and socialize. Adjacent to the playground are smaller wooded areas and a grassy area for spontaneous play.

Ornamental grass gives the park character and the trees create shady places to rest. The playground has lighting.

Playground equipment

The playground offers activities for children of all ages and physical abilities. The park also has optical and acoustic play equipment (hypnosis wheel and speech tubes). The playground has a space theme, which is clearly visible on the play equipment:

• Rocket-like climbing frame with large and small slide
• Rocket-shaped climbing net (8 m high)
• Planetarium that can be used as a learning environment or weather shelter
• Space car
• Carousel with space for wheelchair
• Rope course
• Submerged trampoline with ramp
• Swings, swing carousel and spring swings. The swings have different types of seats to suit children of different ages and children with physical disabilities
• Voltaic railing
• Sandpit
• Speech tube
• Hypnosis wheel

A play table next to the sandbox allows children to move their play to a higher level, as a complement to sitting down and playing. The table is accessible for wheelchairs as it stands on an easily accessible surface.

Cosmic stones, meteorites, encourage children to rest but also to "slalom".
