In 1900, the company Dunberg, Pettersson & Co. was founded, which manufactured kerosene-powered spark plug engines.
From 1905 Pettersson and his sons continued production here in the workshop at Ålund.
The entire workshop and an adjacent carpenter's shed with a woodcutter and a knitting planer are powered by a Dunberg-Pettersson engine.
This is the only known preserved engine of its kind.
