Beschreibung
The Knipån valley is an area with high natural values. There are two reserves here, Knipån-Kivarp and Knipån nedre. The river connects to Lake Vättern and is important as a spawning ground for trout and river lamprey. Rare dragonflies and river pearl mussels have also been found in Knipån.
Knipån nedre has a parking lot and information signs that are common to both reserves. At the parking lot you can see how the County Administrative Board has created a free walking path past a dam. There is also a small hiking trail here, but it can be a little difficult to see.

Verordnungen
The right of public access does not fully apply in Knipån nedres nature reserve. You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:
- destroy or damage fixed natural objects, trees or bushes or parts of trees or bushes
- put up a picture, sign, inscription, poster or similar
- make fires other than with firewood
- picking or collecting mosses, lichens or fungi, except edible mushrooms for domestic use
- collect invertebrates, except for the fishing right holder's right to fish for signal crayfish
- riding other than on existing roads.
Within the reserve, it is prohibited without the permission of the County Administrative Board to:
- use the reserve area for organized competitions or exercises or similar with more than 100 participants
- use the reserve area for camp activities with more than 30 participants.
