Badplats Häggsåssjön

Häggsåssjön is a nice and accessible lake for the whole family, located next to the road between Myrviken and Gräftåvallen. Here you can swim at the shallow sandy beach during the day and fish in the evening - or vice versa if you prefer. Summer fishing starts as soon as the ice breaks up. Fishing from a boat with a long line is one popular method, fly-fishing from a float is another, and fishing with a worm or spinning from the shore is a third. With boots you can walk along the paths along the lake in all weathers. The trout in the lake are of good size but the char are small. At the bathing area in the northern part of the lake there are two barbecue areas. There is another barbecue area on the eastern side of the lake - with a beautiful view of the mountains. The fishing license for the Dammån fishing conservation area applies to the area.
