Surfspot Norra Näs

Freeride paradise north of Varberg. Here you sail / kite inshore just 10 km from Varberg city. Norra näs is a perfect place to learn to windsurf. Sea breeze strengthening in spring and fall makes the place popular for experienced kiters. Out at the nearest island to the west, Bonnholmen, there is a large area of knee-deep water. Perfect for training.

Please note: Norra Näs is a residential area with lots of children and animals - drive slowly. The beach is located at a private harbor, so it is extra important to keep clean and tidy and respect the boat owners. Free-roaming animals walk on the beach - keep the gate to the parking lot closed. North of the southern harbor there is a lot of rock. The entrance channels to the harbors are marked with sticks. Watch out!
