STF Axmar Bruksbod Bed and Breakfast

The foundry at Axmar streams was established as early as 1671. Today, 350 years later, Axmar Bruk is the only cultural reserve in Gävle Municipality. Cycle through beautiful nature reserves, stroll in the English park, or hike on paths in the woods or along the sea.

Our cozy Bed & Breakfast is right next to the romantic English park. When staying with us, you enter a former workers' home from 1843. Sleep well in comfortable beds and enjoy our breakfast with freshly baked organic bread. We are open from March to December and offer seven homely and individually decorated rooms. If you want to experience something out of the ordinary, in summer you can stay in Järn-Brita's hut, a work of art in the English Park.

We offer a cozy and quiet environment where you can take a break from everyday life and experience our beautiful surroundings. We are passionate about our village and its development. We are also passionate about locally produced food, and in our farm shop you will find both home-made products from the forests and gardens as well as honey from our own apiary.
